City of Frankston Wins Sister Cities Australia Award

We are very pleased to announce that the City of Frankston has been awarded the joint winner with the City of Blacktown, New South Wales in the recent Sister Cities Australia (SCA) National Awards - Community Involvement Category. Our entry was based on our 2016 Japanese Festival held at Frankston High School in April last year during the Susono delegation visit.

This prestigious national award is recognition for all the effort and great work put in to ensure such a successful Festival at such a great venue!

SCA Executive Member Christina Despoteris, who resides in Victoria, will visit Frankston to present the trophies, possibly sometime late next week. More details will be posted once arrangements have been confirmed.

Congratulations to everyone involved!
